Aimee is an overzealous jack-of-all-trades with an insatiable appetite for learning. No task is beneath her and no challenge unworthy of her best efforts. Overflowing with passion for whatever she sets her mind to, she is an all-or-nothing kinda gal. In her early years of self-discovery, Aimee was conflicted between whether to pursue the arts, or the sciences, as she felt an affinity for both disciplines. This became a recurring theme over the years. After her son, Finn, was born with a severe congenital heart defect, she chose to take some time away from her career as an occupational therapist to focus on Finn, and in that time rediscovered her love of the arts through photography. With Finn’s uncertain future came a deep appreciation for capturing the present, juxtaposed by an overwhelming desire to escape reality; and so her interest in photography quickly expanded into compositing. In the space of a year she went from picking up a camera for the first time to learning advanced photoshop skills. Her son Finn is her muse and Salt Lake City, UT their playground.
