This course encourages photographers to ask uncomfortable questions, research, and learn about ways they can embrace a family’s culture while staying true to their art and aesthetic. If a family hires a photographer because they were gravitated towards their work, but also has strong roots to their culture - how can we intertwine the two to honor their culture in a respectful way? For clients inquiring, how can we make sure we are doing our part as artists to create a culture inclusive environment that’s safe, kind, and open the invitation of discussion to include their culture in their session experience?
