Katy Stewart

Katy Stewart is the artist behind 1954 Muse – Poetic Imagery, formerly known as Moments for Mamas. In 2024, she rebranded to reflect her cinematic, storytelling approach to family and couple photography. Katy creates an inclusive, open space that prioritizes connection over perfection, weaving in authentic activities, styling, and play to romanticize everyday life. Her work goes beyond smiles to honor the full spectrum of human experience—mental health, marriage tension, trauma, loss, and more—while offering clients a safe space to be seen. Based in Summerland, B.C., Canada, Katy captures golden sunsets on epic landscapes as well as intimate “day in the life” sessions in her clients’ homes.
