Victoria Andrews

"Travel makes one modest. You see what a tiny place you occupy in the world."
–Gustav Flaubert
Victoria is not only a photographer but also a high school teacher, a mother of two young children and possibly a coffee addict. Hailing originally from Auckland, New Zealand, she now calls Brisbane, Australia home and she is passionate about photographing families, specialising in children portraiture. She has a genuine desire for pursuing natural beauty and loves nothing more than capturing a dusting of freckles across one’s face, the sparkle in someone’s eye or the way the late afternoon sun sprinkles dappled light onto the subject. Having said that, she also loves a striking studio portrait! With a background in the Arts, as both a dancer and teacher, she has a unique perspective on spatial awareness, composition and how the body moves. This ingrained knowledge allows her to perfectly capture the raw emotion on the faces of those she photographs.Small text.
