Eilean Shona is a car-free wilderness haven, nestled in a loch on the dramatic west coast of Scotland. Days are filled with cooking and drinking around campfires, wild swimming, reading, hiking, picnicking, kayaking, nature watching, and wandering the woods and beaches. Eilean Shona House, with its comfortable, quirky design, is ideal for gatherings. This island is a luxurious retreat alongside a respect for the pristine natural environment.

What does my investment included? 

Your stay on this exclusive private island in Scotland will include: education, a styled elopement session with Ben and Ashley of Rosey Red Photography, a styled family shoot with Mari Trancoso, built in time for self portraits, headshot shots and promotional/marketing creation, ferry transport to the island, a private chef for all meals and daily afternoon tea.

Is this ticket refundable?

Your purchase is nonrefundable, but it is transferable to another artist.  This is the responsibility of the ticket holder. We often have a wait list for events and will do everything we can to help fill your seat in the event that you are unable to attend for an unforeseeable reason, but ultimately the artist is responsible for the cost of the ticket if a replacement is not found. 
In the event that Unraveled Academy would need to cancel this event your entire investment will be refunded.

Is transportation included in my investment?  

Your flights are your own to book and the closest airports to the island are between three and four hours drive from both Glasgow and Inverness. There are daily international to both of these airports. 
 You will be responsible to get yourself to the ferry that will take you to the private island.  
There will be a private ferry provided for you in order to get you to and from the island! 

Will I be able to connect with other attendees for planning purposes?

YES, we will have a private facebook group where you can connect with other artists to plan your trip and ask questions to Unraveled leaders leading up the the event! 

We take huge pride from the community and lifelong relationships that result from our events.  It is our number one priority that everyone feels at home with us. 

What are the sleeping arrangements?

We will be traveling to the old world where things were built well and designed for togetherness. You will either be assigned a shared double bed or twin. If you are traveling with a friend, we will put you together upon request. The house has 9 bedrooms (7 doubles and 2 twins), sleeping up to 18. Each bedroom has its own character with furniture and artwork of note. Serving these bedrooms there are 6 bathrooms (3 ensuite) and 1 shower room. All the bed linen, towels and robes are of the finest quality Egyptian cotton.

Scotland currency, language and travel requirements:

Scotland's currency is the pound, which is only behind the US dollar by a small amount, so buying while in Scotland won't be too tricky. Luckily for those visiting from the US, English is widely spoken. While many Scottish locals are bilingual and able to understand Gaelic, few have it as their sole language. American citizens traveling to Scotland, England, Wales, or Northern Ireland do not require a visa but will need a valid passport.
