WANDER RETREAT

Whitefish, Montana

Where artists go to remember who they are.

October 2nd-5th, 2026
Empty space, drag to resize

The Wander Retreat is a space for artists who crave more.

More honesty in their work, more depth in their lives, more connection to what truly moves them. This experience was created for the quiet rebels, the wild-hearted, the ones who don’t just want to take pretty pictures—they want to feel something.

Over three days together, we will slow down, breathe deeper, and return to why we picked up a camera in the first place. Through intentional education, immersive shooting experiences, creative exploration, and meaningful conversation, you will walk away with more than new images—you will leave with new energy in your art.

This is not a traditional photography workshop. There are no ego-driven rules here. No comparison. No pressure to perform. Just real artists gathering under big skies to make honest work and unforgettable memories.

Wander is about stepping outside routine and coming home to yourself.

This Retreat is For You If…

You want to create images that carry emotion—not just aesthetics
You’re craving community with other artists who get it
You want to push past creative blocks and rekindle your fire
You’re open to new landscapes, new people, and new parts of yourself
You’re willing to show up fully, with heart

WHAT'S INCLUDED?

3-Night Stay in a Luxury Mountain Sanctuary

Our home base is a private retreat property nestled in downtown Whitefish — a place where modern comfort meets the wild hum of Montana’s mountains. Soak in the hot tub beneath endless skies, sip coffee by the fire, and let the rhythm of nature slow your breath and refill your creative well.

All Meals + Local Montana Flavor

Every day you’ll be nourished with prepared meals, snacks, coffee, wine, and fireside treats. We believe in slow mornings, long tables, and good food shared among artists. Vegetarian + dietary options available.

EPIC Signature Styled Shoot with Jaci Vigil

Led by guest instructor Jaci Vigil, this immersive shoot will focus on emotional storytelling and intentional direction. Expect to create cinematic, heart-forward work surrounded by golden light and mountain grandeur.

Welcome Dinner + Artist Mixer

We’ll gather on the first evening for a shared meal, good wine, and even better conversation. This is where connection begins — where names turn into stories and strangers turn into friends.

Group Photo Hike at Glacier National Park

One morning, we’ll lace up our boots and step into the wild heart of Glacier National Park together. This won’t be a rushed hike, but a grounding — a chance to move slowly through a place that feels sacred in its scale and silence. As we wander, we’ll capture breathtaking images of the park’s sweeping peaks, alpine lakes, and golden light, and we’ll turn the camera toward each other too. This is about documenting the land and the artists who walk it — because we deserve to be in the frame.

All Scheduled Group Transportation

Leave the logistics to us — all retreat transportation to Glacier, shooting locations, and group outings is included. Sit back, breathe deep, and watch pine trees and peaks blur past your window.

Creative Workshop: Vision + Goal-Setting for the Next Five Years

Step into the next chapter of your artistry with clarity. Through guided reflection and community discussion, we’ll explore what you truly want — in business, art, and life — and map the next five years with intention and heart.

Group Editing + Fireside Connection Session

As the retreat winds down, we’ll come together for an intimate editing and sharing session — swapping stories, reviewing images, and reflecting on what this experience has sparked. Expect laughter, warmth, and maybe a few tears under the Montana stars.

WHO'S COMING WITH ME?

NEW TO UNRAVELED, LEAD Instructor

Jaci Vigil

We are honored to welcome Jaci Vigil as our guest instructor for the Wander Retreat. Laci is a photographer who creates from the marrow of life—rooted in movement, connection, and emotional truth. Her work is raw, cinematic, and deeply felt—art that doesn’t just speak, it stays with you.

A photographer and storyteller drawn to the quiet power of emotion. Her work honors the beauty of human connection—intentional, imperfect, and profoundly real.

Based in Whitefish, Montana, Jaci documents weddings, elopements, and portraits with depth and presence. A single mother of three with over a decade of experience telling stories, she believes the most meaningful moments are often the ones in-between.
